| One killed, one injured in vehicle accident |

A 22-year-old man died of injuries he sustained in an accident July 8 on Providenciales, police said. Quinton Phillips suffered fatal injuries when the vehicle he was driving collided with a wall after it overturned on the Leeward Highway near Carlisle Supplies around 4 a.m. His passenger, Dervonte Joseph, 18, suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries, police said. “An investigation has now been launched, and we urge anyone who either saw the collision or who has any information to contact the police,” said police Constable Abdonald Pierre. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at 911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477.
