To those who have stayed at Amanyara on Providenciales, the resort’s latest accolade probably does not come as much of a surprise. Amanyara is renowned for the service they provide to their guests. “The guest experience is paramount to us, and the foundation of our culture,” Amanyara General Manager Marco Franck told the fp. However, the resort management and staff are thrilled at being just one of 79 hotels in the world and five resorts in the Caribbean to be listed in the latest “2012 World’s Best Service” by Travel + Leisure magazine. “We are very much honoured to be recognized with such a prestigious accolade,” Franck said. A go-to guide for elite world travel planners, Travel + Leisure’s best lists are highly regarded in the travel industry, partly because they are achieved as a result of feedback from guests. Travel + Leisure rankings are based on reader votes collected in the Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards survey. Some of the qualities that help a hotel make the list are location, staff-to-guest ratio, and of course the service provided by the staff. “Amanresorts is synonymous with impeccable service in all of our 26 resorts all over the world,” Franck said. “I am particularly pleased that Amanyara has been recognized as one of the resorts with the World’s Best Service in the Caribbean. The Caribbean service experience is unfortunately not always at the highest levels of quality and thus, this recognition makes me all the more proud of my harmonious team of hospitality professionals who hail from the Turks and Caicos Islands, several Caribbean nations and from further abroad.” The Travel + Leisure 2012 Best Service List appears in the June 2012 issue of the magazine, online at TravelandLeisure.com, and in the June digital editions on iPad, NOOK Color and Kindle Fire.
