The Turks and Caicos Islands Red Cross has announced that it “has parted company” with its newly appointed Director Courtney Robinson and thanked him for his service. “His (probationary) employment has been terminated under the relevant provision of his employment contract effective on Thursday, March 22,” the Red Cross said in a media statement. “Unfortunately, it did not work out,” said Red Cross Chairman Art Forbes. “The Governing Committee is of the view that it is best for both parties if we go our separate ways.” “All Red Cross services and facilities remain unaffected, and continue as normal,” Forbes said. Robinson was appointed director in January.
