The Graceway Sports Centre has beefed up its activities calendar even more with two new athletic programs it has begun to offer fitness enthusiasts. One program includes free squash lessons every Sunday from 9-11 a.m. with a program called “Skills & Drills.” This instructional event has been generously donated by local squash player Rob Ayer, and participants are sure to improve not only their techniques but also their health through this high intensity sport. Players need only to pay the court fee or sign up for a squash monthly membership. Residents are also invited to try out the centre’s new aerobics class with Dwight. This fun, challenging and fat burning class mixes interval training, weights, steps, elastic bands and more for an energetic, upbeat class that will keep your body moving. Class is held every Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. at a $12 drop-in rate or $100 for 10 classes. For more information, contact 649-442-6348 or visit www.gracewaysportscentre.com.
