Fourth man arrested in robbery, shooting death PDF  | Print |  E-mail

A fourth man has been arrested in the Dec. 16 robbery that left one man dead and another critically wounded, according to police.

The names of those arrested had not been released at press time Jan. 5.

Four robbers escaped with an unspecified amount of money during a morning robbery outside the Royal Bank of Canada on Leeward Highway on Providenciales.

Police are still investigating, but they have released no details except to say the men who were shot were going to the bank to make a deposit when they were robbed.

Wilfrid Guillaury, 58, a Haitian national, died of his wounds at the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre.

The other man, who police have not identified, survived after undergoing surgery for wounds to his chest and abdomen.
