Scotiabank Turks and Caicos Ltd., through its Bright Future program, has donated $20,800 to sponsor local students for the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate Examination.

The program provides quality examination preparation and online help to secondary students preparing to sit the CSEC exams. Students will be able to log on to the website and get online help via live chats for assistance with their assignments.

With this sponsorship, parents and students will have access to exam resources (including preparation plans, strategies for successful test-taking, tips for passing your examination, up-to-the-minute examination information), graded timed practice tests (multiple choice and short answers), a 24/7 online Help Desk, monitored by teachers ready to provide support, select past paper questions, revision notes, real-time online grade book, research assistance, homework help, School-Based Assessment assistance, integrated dictionary and teacher-monitored chat rooms.

“Scotiabank is proud to offer assistance to the youth of the Turks and Caicos Islands by ensuring that all secondary students have access to the CSEC examination sites in preparation for their annual exams,” the bank said.

The Scotiabank Bright Future Program was established to unite all Scotiabank philanthropic efforts under one program. Its formation grants every Scotiabanker the ability to be more strategic and focused in charitable efforts, ultimately making a bigger impact on the causes the bank supports — opportunities for helping children.
