Hundreds of residents and tourists headed down to Fresh Bakery on June 25 for fresh off the farm produce.

North Caicos grown tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, plantains, corn, pumpkin and sugar cane were just a few of the juicy organic treats gobbled up by guests.

Fresh Bakery and Bistro, which has been working with Green Acre farm from North Caicos for more than a year, plans to host the market twice a month or more if demand is ripe, says Fresh owner Mihaela Zins.

The next farmers market is planned for Saturday, July 9.
