Man arrested after Christmas gunfire PDF Print E-mail

Police arrested a man early Christmas day after reports that a firearm was discharged in Blue Hills.

“A male person was arrested shortly after that and is assisting with our enquiries,” police said. The person was not identified, and it was not stated what charges if any were lodged against the person.

“Following initial police enquiries, officers mobilised quickly and later that morning executed a search warrant at a house in Blue Hills in what was a police firearms operation,” police said.

Police did not say if firearms were found during the search.
