Police say they have arrested four men and one woman in connection with the theft of 15 Rolex watches worth $193,966 during a midday robbery of the Grace Bay location of Jai’s jewelers on Saturday, July 10.

On Friday, July 16, police announced they had Lorenzo Caesar, Franklyn Saintelmon and Roxanne Lockhart in custody.

On Tuesday, July 20, police said they had charged Wilkie Arthur and Jo’ram Rigby with robbery in the case. Police said two other men and one woman would also be charged with robbery.

Last year, Arthur was found not guilty of two 2007 robberies.

Shortly after noon July 10, a woman helped the robbers get into the upscale guarded store. The woman pretended to drop her purse in the entryway, allowing the robbers to rush the security guard manning the of the store door.

Two of the masked men were armed with guns and the third had a cutlass.

The robbery was captured on security cameras.

Police said they recovered a .22-caliber revolver, clothing worn by the suspects and two vehicles,  but none of the watches.
