This month's UK GQ Magazine, featuring President elect Barack Obama on the cover, also carries a feature article on The Hon. Dr. Michael E. Misick, MP - Premier of the Turks and Caicos. The article repeats extensively ground already covered in the Commission of Inquiry, however it is different in many respects.

For instance, the Inquiry's tally of Misick's net worth is approximately $3-5 million dollars. This is based on his revealed debts of $23,000 and assets and income of about $25 - $30 million. However, the GQ article says that The Premier is worth $200 million. Quite how they have come to that figure is not known.

Additionally, there are comments from a variety of persons, most tantalising are those from former Premier The Hon. Norman Saunders MP, who seems to suggest that Misick should think about reducing the heat he has created rightly or wrongly by withdrawing.

The article show photographs of a lavish party for Mrs LisaRaye McCoy-Misick, as she then was, and may raise questions in the minds of Turks and Caicos islanders about her stated commitment to these islands, when what they see from their perspective is luxurious extravagance at their expensive, with no return in good works typical of a First Lady.

The article goes on to detail an array of relationships and and lifestyle about which Mr. Misick is now being questioned. The Magazine is on stand in the UK and Hong Kong and will be on stands in the Americas next week.
