Kikivarakis and Munnings, who arrived on Friday, April 9, said they will need more time to appraise the bank's situation before they can give further details to depositors, creditors or shareholders. The two confirmed meeting with potential investors over the weekend, but say it will take time to gauge if the parties are serious and if their offers are in the best interest of the various stakeholders, whose funds are now tied up in the closed bank. They will now begin evaluating the bank's processes in an effort to figure out what when wrong, they said. They also have to evaluate how the bank will proceed with cheques deposited or written over the days shortly before the bank's closure. "These are all things we still have to figure out," Kikivarakis told the fp. A crowd continued to gather outside the downtown branch Monday morning, April 12, where anxious account holders wait for further information on how and when they will see their money again.
