Grace Bay Resorts recently unveiled the details of their new contemporary resort brand CAYA. Designed by celebrated architect Chad Oppenheim, the new 5-star luxury resort and residential experience will provide design-driven clientele with a vibrant mix of eco-friendly architecture, concept dining, entertainment venues, signature rooftop bars and the first luxury branded retail village in Providenciales.

“Our goal with CAYA is to create an evocative, sophisticated hospitality and residential concept where high design, contemporary styling and exciting dining, shopping and entertaining are blended together to create an innovative lifestyle resort community,” says Durliat. “We have designed the residences to be environmentally sensitive and attractively priced to fill a growing void in the popular second home marketplace and hotel product of Providenciales. We believe CAYA is a concept which will further propel Providenciales as one of the leading elite international resort destinations.”

The 150-key property will be located on a six acre site neighboring its award-winning flagship resort Grace Bay Club. CAYA will consist of six residential buildings, with each unit enjoying a corner position and each building containing only nine units comprised of studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and Penthouse categories ranging in price from $400,000- to over $1M. A mere 150-ft away from the shore, the buildings are elevated providing panoramic views of Grace Bay.

In addition to the first luxury branded retail village in Providenciales, CAYA will host its own spa, fitness center, two restaurants, multiple pools and an extraordinary rooftop bar, lounge and open air grill. Guests and owners will enjoy immediate access to the CAYA Beach Pavilion on Grace Bay, managed by Grace Bay Resorts. The Beach Pavilion will offer owners and guests full luxury beach amenities including: personalized service, lounge chairs, gourmet snacks &beverages, umbrellas, towel service, restrooms and shower facilities. As an added benefit, as members of the growing stable of Grace Bay Resorts properties, guests of CAYA will enjoy exclusive priority access to the Grace Bay Club’s dining and entertainment facilities including the gourmet beachfront eatery Anacaona, the celebrated Infiniti Bar and Anani Spa.

CAYA will be developed and managed by Grace Bay Resorts, the company behind the success of Grace Bay Club and its related residential and management projects including the newly announced Veranda Resort & Residences to open in Fall 2009. Originally founded by developer Mark Durliat, Grace Bay Resorts’ principals include previous Ritz Carlton hotelier Nikheel Advani and Denver-based developer SV Capital Partners.

“As a member of Grace Bay Resorts, CAYA will enjoy the award winning personalized services of our established hospitality brand built upon the celebrated reputation of our flagship resort Grace Bay Club,” says Nikheel Advani, Chief Operating Officer of Grace Bay Resorts. “It is our hope that CAYA will offer a unique luxury experience unlike anything else on the island while providing the unparalleled service and amenities one would expect from the Grace Bay Club.”
